Keep project terminals, files and notes together
Use named Orbit workspaces to organise AI work while keeping the underlying project folder clear.
A workspace is a view of your project
An Orbit workspace groups terminals for a task. Creating one does not duplicate the project folder. Two workspaces pointed at the same folder still use the same files. This matters when different sessions can make edits.
Set up a repeatable project flow
- Add an existing project folder from the navigation menu. Use the eye control to check its path.
- In Code, create a workspace with a clear task name.
- Open a terminal using the intended provider account and available model.
- Inspect output in Project files. Save a short note for a decision or remaining task.
Return to saved work
Orbit retains workspace choices, saved tabs and output. A stopped terminal needs Continue; a saved view is not evidence that its old process is still running. Saved conversation history also remains tied to the account that owns it.
Try a small complete example
The tutorial project starts with a book club meeting brief. It creates a checklist, reviews the file, saves a note and checks the result through a browser. You can follow the same sequence before applying it to a larger project.
