Save an AI reviewer with project instructions and skills
Reuse a focused review task in Orbit with saved instructions, reference context and a supported provider account.
Separate the role from today’s request
The saved role explains what the agent should do each time. The chat request gives it today’s task. For a book club reviewer, keep “check meeting details and phone readability” in the role, then ask it to review a specific checklist in the chat.
Build a useful reviewer
- Open Agents and create a named agent. Describe its review scope and expected output.
- Add stable project facts in Reference memory. Do not put passwords or private sign-in codes there.
- Add a focused skill, such as a checklist for meeting date, time, place and contact information.
- Select a usable default provider account. Save the agent, open its chat and ask it to inspect a specific file.
Review its evidence
Ask the reviewer to name the file and explain each finding. Confirm those findings in the project. Saving instructions helps repeat a process; it does not guarantee an accurate answer or give the agent access beyond its tools and account.
Continue useful work
Keep the conversation with its original account when following up. Update stable instructions only when the review process changes. Use project notes for temporary decisions that should remain easy to find.
