NEXVIA ORBIT · PRODUCT HELP

Use the right Chrome profile

Watch a real Codex profile being added in Orbit. See the Chrome profile menu, the private sign-in handoff and how to prepare a second account.

Before you start: Use this optional guide if more than one provider identity is signed into Chrome. Current Orbit shows an optional side guide: select Next after opening the correct Chrome profile.

Real Orbit and terminal recordings from an isolated Windows setup. Idle pauses are trimmed; a Chrome menu still is labelled. Private sign-in is not completed or shown. Temporary sign-in links and personal profile names are hidden.

Follow along

  1. Open AI accounts

Settings → AI accounts. Install the provider CLI first.

This recording uses an isolated workspace. No real provider account is authorised.

  2. Add a separate provider profile

Use Add account for each additional identity.

Name the profile Personal, Work or another label you recognise.

  3. Start the real sign-in handoff

Continue to sign in opens the official provider login.

Private step: choose your provider identity, enter any password or code, and approve sign-in yourself.

  4. Choose the correct Chrome profile

Chrome → profile icon at the top right → the profile you want.

If needed, use Add Chrome profile. Signing into Chrome itself is separate from signing into an AI provider.

  5. If sign-in opens the wrong profile

Copy the original provider sign-in URL into the correct Chrome profile before approving.

Keep the terminal open. Never share the link or copy a completed callback URL.

  6. Prepare the next account

Refresh accounts after private sign-in. Confirm the correct identity.

Repeat Add account for each extra provider identity. Do not sign out an existing profile just to add another.

  7. Choose subscription or API billing

Choose Provider subscription or API key, as supported by your provider.

API usage charges and provider subscriptions are separate from your Orbit subscription.
